Whether you’ve just had your first period or you’re preparing for it, we’ve got you covered!
What’s a Period Anyway? 🩷
Your period is a natural part of growing up! It’s your body’s way of telling you, “Hey, I’m maturing, and that’s a beautiful thing!” Periods can come with changes in how you feel, but guess what? You’re not alone, and it’s nothing to be scared of. You’ve got this!
🗓️ When will it start?
Most girls get their first period between 9 and 15 years old. You might notice changes in your body, like growing breasts, hair under your arms, or discharge (a clear or white fluid) in your underwear. These are signs your period could be coming soon!
🩸 What does it look like?
The blood might start as just a few drops or a light flow and can be red, brown, or pink—all totally normal!
⏳ How long does it last?
A period usually lasts 3 to 7 days, and it happens about every 28 to 35 days. Don’t worry if it’s irregular at first—it can take time to settle into a pattern.
